Getting to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

Flights

The Turks and Caicos Islands have an amazing array of flight options for getting to Providenciales (PLS). Airlines that currently fly here are JetBlue, American, Delta, United, and South West Airlines. From Canada you may choose from either Air Canada or WestJet . British Airways flies twice-weekly service from Gatwick in London. Private Air Travel

For your private air travel, Providenciales has a new state of the art FBO (fixed base operator), Blue Heron Aviation by Signature Flight Support. this is a new luxury airport and it includes off-site customs, immigration, and fueling.

Immigration and Customs

It can be easy, or it can be long depending on how many planes are in when you land. Saturday and Sunday in high season (Jan-April) can be challenging since it’s spring break for many. Each family member fills out an immigration form, and one customs form per family. You may have to stand on a line for 30-40 mins through immigration. You’ll pick up your luggage you’ll probably go to the “Nothing To Declare” line since you probably have nothing to declare.

Rental Cars

It’s not necessary to rent a car because of Le Vele’s proximity to the beach and many restaurants and stores. If you choose to rent a car you’ll be met with a car rental representative once you exit the airport. You’ll take the rental car company’s van to get your car and drive to Le Vele. You can also choose to rent a car later into your stay, Grace Bay Car Rentals is located walking distance or cars can be delivered to Le Vele.

Airport Transportation

Le Vele is located approximately 14 minutes from the airport. If you decide to not rent a car at the airport the taxi fee is currently $14.00 per person for a party of 2 or more, $28 for a party of 1, paid directly to the taxi driver. *Rates are subject to change without notice.

Check In

Check in time is 3pm. We will do our best to accommodate you if we can check you in early. Feel free to change into your suits, our beach and pool are there for your enjoyment while you wait. Check out time is 11am.
